Inspired by the encasement of the begging bear in Guelph Ontario, Homeless in Toronto is an editorial about the aggressive removal of homeless people in Toronto and the GTA. After interviewing the artist responsible for the “vandalism” on the bear, it came to light that the severity of the removal and detainment of the homeless in Toronto was not just an issue of ethics, but humanity. It was important to highlight the effects of what the Toronto Metropolitan Police Department did to the entire community. Found images and articles were used to formulate the layout and  segments of the interview with the artist were included to shed more light on the situation’s effects on those both inside and outside of the GTA.
